- The flower design (Palapethi design) around the globe depicts the Sri Lankan identity and the cultural values nurtured at Springfield College.
- The four colours of the squares; Burgundy, Gold, Jungle Green & Navy Blue depict the colours of the four Houses.
- Yellow colour Olive Branches symbolize victory.
